Love the colors Karen chose this week They are fairly traditional for Christmas but not quite the usual green and red.
This little snowman is so cute I decided to keep the layout simple to showcase him. I cut him in white and ink blended his colors so I could add some shading. I used the Smoky Slate to shade the snowballs, hat trim and the snowman.
This plaid reminds me of a flannel shirt so I wanted to use it for "warmth." I was originally just going to use the white scalloped panel on top of it, but when I tried the little bit of Pretty Peacock behind it I found it made the panel pop.
To finish it off, I wrapped some striped bakers twine and linen thread around the bottom and tied a snowflake to it.
I hope you'll join us this week as we continue with Christmas in July!

this is so cute Jeanne- love the snowman and he looks so cute dressed up in these colors. The plaid background paper is so perfect for your card design.

Jeanne, I can't stop looking at this adorable, charming card! Your snowman is so dear, and your coloring really brings him to life. I love the peacock layer under the white scalloped layer, too!
