Today I have combined the latest Technique Challenge - Reverse Stencil and used CC752 for the 800th Color Challenge.
I laid down the colours on Whisper White using the direct to paper method as a quick way to achieve a deep colour. The stencil was added with a Sponge Brayer and black ink. To add extra texture (and meet the dessert option of CC752) I ran it through the Tasteful Textile 3D EF and layered it on black and then a white card base. The sentiment was stamped on white with black ink. It looked too stark against the bright background so I used the transverse tree section image with Gray Granite ink and second generation stamping.
Thanks for looking.

lol - good thing I always read everybody's descriptions as the first thought that entered my mind was "How did she get all that TEXTURE from sponging?" I like the addition of the 2nd gen stamping over your sentiment - I had started with a black on white sentiment, too, but like you found it stark & unpleasant against that bg.
