This is for Anita's mom who will be celebrating her 80th birthday! She likes to garden so I used this cute LOTV garden fairy image. Since it's such a special occasion I decided to part with this beautiful Basic Grey paper that I've been hoarding. I stitched around the edge instead of adding an extra layering piece. For Jacqueline's challenge I added the personalized banner.

Polly, this card is so beautiful. The sweet little fairy gardener is adorable, and she has made this garden grow into a place of wonder. I love the hollyhocks and your stitching along the edges too, as well as the pretty paper.

How truly special to part with some DSP that you love--we all get it and know that Anita's Mom must be a very special lady indeed. 80 is a big milestone!!! Loving how you have tributed her love for gardening in so many ways. Those delicate hollyhocks that have dimension are wonderful, and I love your stitched edges around the focal layer. Anita's Mom will feel extremely special, which is exactly what you want, of course. Beautiful flowers for a lady who is beautiful herself on the inside and out...

You and I were on the gardening thought line. I love the little fairy gardener you gave Annie. The pretty paper and the beautiful die cut hollyhocks! Gorgeous card!

Love this card and everything about it. The image is adorable, your coloring is beautiful and your dp paper looks fabulous with her. The stitching is such a great detail as are those adorable hollyhocks. What a wonderful gift to Annie's mom.

Beautiful card for Annie, Polly, you have used a sweet image and just love that gorgeous dp, I would have trouble parting with that, too! Love the banner sentiment and flower die!

Oh Polly, how delightful! Great way to use up/sacrifice some special paper. And the hollyhocks make a fab frame for your sweet scene. I like the stitching, too, for a suitably fashion-oriented detail.
