I embossed the clothes of a Paper Doll with Tim Holtz new Distress Embossing Glazes, using Antique Linen on his suit, Vintage Photo on his boots, and Fossilized Amber on his hat tie and buttonaire.
I embossed the background using 3D Fades Brickwork embossing folder and cut it with Pierced Feature Frames from PTI. I embossed his 'seat' with 3D Texture Fade EF Lumber and sponged over it with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. The sentiment is Small Talk - Occasions sticker. To tone down the gold paper - I rubbed Bronze Metal Effects over it. I colored the mans hands and face with Spun Sugar Distress Marker.

Wow! This gentleman looks fantastic surrounded by his gold brick wall. Sort of like a modern day throne for this dapper guy. What an amazing interpretation of the original.

I am so loving those TH paper dolls that I had to buy another group of them when HL puts their Tim Holtz stuff on sale. I have just made some of the greatest cards with them. Looks like you are having lots of fun with them too. Love this terrific card..
