Combining Wednesday Watercolor technique with today's found object mix. I used 3 Dylusion sprays, though the blue was clogged, and sprayed on the craft mat, mixing with a palette knife. Laid down the watercolor paper and was too impatient to let it settle on it's own and started smearing with the palette knife. So fun and made a bunch. Polly's Found Object? My whole life is found objects! I quickly chose these elements and fashioned a card that will go to some friends in AZ. The label is from the restaurant where we ate 18 months ago! They love wine so I embossed the gold part from the top of the cork that most folks toss. Stamped the cactus on a different portion of the tissue paper, backed with a sticker label and fussy cut. The drywall tape was a leftover piece used many times while gel printing...and it's about time I used this wooden zigzag. It's been in my way for way too long as well.

I am grinning about using things that you get tired of pushing out of the way... I really love that you embossed the wine foil too who knew that would be sturdy enough to hold the impression. this is very cool Lori.

You are so funny saying your life is so full of found objects. And, just look how handy they are for crafting. Just the most wonderful card with a great background and love your little tissue cactus. That is definitely perfect for a card going to Arizona. Glad you joined us with your tissue watercoloring.
