Our challenge is to use a found object on our card. I rarely keep miscellaneous things. So I thought maybe I could find something in my sewing box (have not sewed in 35 years). I found an unopened package of 4 gorgeous white applique butterflies - $1.99 - wonder what they would cost now. I took one out of the package and colored it with 2 shades of purple. Then traced it and fussy cut a white backing (very fine, see-thru material). Cut a black frame. Assembled all the pieces onto a purple base. Finally, added stickles to the base of the stamen and white enamel accents to the ends of the stamen. This looks so much prettier IRL. Did not capture the stickles or the tiny dots of enamel - no sun for my photo.

I remember those butterfly/ floral decals! I'm impressed that you found this in your sewing box..what a great find for this challenge. Your card is lovely pairing the butterfly with the flower and shell. The added color on the butterfly along with the added accents are so pretty.

LOVE your beautiful coloring with Chameleon pens, especially that gorgeous flower!. What a cool found item, beautifully colored in my favorite color of purple!. Your sentiment hand-penned is so great, love those words, and your black matting makes it all pop.
