This is my second entry for this week's Alphabet challenge to use the letters O & W. My O is the first word in the sentiment and the W is watercolor. It is also for the first Watercolor Wednesday challenge to try watercolor look ink smooshing - though a month late!
I did ink smooshing with the three colors of distress ink listed above (using one color at a time and sometimes drying in between) and trying to get more of a feather sized spread of ink. After getting the panel to what I liked, I heat embossed the three feathers on it masking as I went.
I smooshed some more ink on my acetate sheet and painted the color directly into the feathers to intensify their color just a bit. I heat embossed the sentiment and added it directly to the panel and added a thin black mat. After much playing around, I added the sequins and called it done.
Thanks for the challenges!

This card is really gorgeous too Catherine. I love how the feathers look like they are falling/floating and how each feather has it's own color. I also love your angle sentiment done in black. You sure made great use of all of your ink smooshing with these beautiful cards! ~Karen.
