Jeanne has some soft and dreamy colors for us this week: Coastal Cabana + Balmy Blue + Soft Sea Foam. And, in keeping with our theme for most of the month, dessert is Christmas in July.
Do you know which Christmas movie this line is from?
I clear embossed my movie quote on watercolor paper and then tested out a new water brush, adding a little more after it had dried to deepen the color and contrast with the embossing. The main layer is trimmed with a stitched rectangle die, tied with a bow and embellished with a couple of watercolored and fussy cut bells. All of the bells got a little special treatment from Wink of Stella.
Don't you think it would be great to cool off a bit with these colors and join us in the color challenge this week?

What a cute idea to include a line from a movie! This background is just dreamy and sets off the white text beautifully! Sweet bow sets it all off. So pretty!

Sweet sentiment from "It's a Wonderful Life". I love how you've embossed the sentiment in white so that it subtly stands out on that beautiful background.
