This was great fun and I even got hubby in the studio today. I wrapped the baby wipe around a large plastic scraper, secured with rubber bands. I had good control by using a plastic quilting ruler to run along the edge. It was also very helpful to have a non-slip mat. It held my glossy-on-both-sides paper for me. Stenciled twice, first in white with too much ink, but was able to blot some off and then sponge
on the blue distress ink. I used wink of Stella on the the shell and the fussy cut mermaid. Popped on a pearl.

All you clever people who thought of using something to stiffen the wipe and make it easier to swipe across. I think I'm just too tired to think clearly right now, and I sure did struggle with it. I like the colours, a yellow sea stripe looks remarkably good and that stencil is fantastic.

Your bg came out so nice, Lori. Beautiful colors too. Your stenciling is perfect and adds to the fun mood of the card. How great you got hubby in the studio.
I picked up the baby wipe and pounced it on my stamp. The first stamp worked great, but as I got to the last stamp I noticed my hands were completely blue. After a shower and a bit of dish washing, they were back to normal. LOL It was a fun technique. HUgz

This is the absolute bomb. I did a stripe background, which I'll use later, and I wrapped the wipes around an acrylic block. Worked great. I wiped it on glossy white and then I tried it on some metallic paper. It kind of beaded up so I'm not sure it will dry. Heading down to the dungeon to check.
