I stamped outline leaves from the Be Kind stamp set and scanned and cut them. I used the negative space as a stencil and masked with the positive piece.

Sympathy cards are always tough to make, this one is so elegant and so lovely! I am extremely taken with this technique you have done with the SSS Be Kind stamp, not sure I totally understand how you achieved this (which I am sure is me...), but the dimension you achieved by the various layers is just stunning, WOW! I'm a big fan of SSS stamps and dies and all things SSS...
The stitching around the focal image as well as the sympathy tag give a wonderful elegance that I think is especially appropriate for a sympathy card. The green and brown layers plus the texture on the green cardstock really work together to create a very distinctive and very beautiful CAS card. Truly wonderful!!!
Favorited. I hope that the Favorites of the Week will soon be operational again. But perhaps the CAS Favorites is still working, not sure...
