What a wonderfully patriotic card for your 4th of July celebrations. I love how the bright colors of your American flag and the red stripe pop against the weathered wood look behind, it's so very effective and wonderfully vintage. SO beautiful! Your metal-colored cord looks very cool, and adds some wonderful texture. Your message of God Bless the USA is always needed and so very appropriate, but even more so now with all that is going on due to the pandemic. We NEED God's blessings and His help, thinking of that verse "my help cometh from the Lord who made the heavens and the earth"--may not be exact but hopefully, it's close.
Happy 4th of July to you and your family and to all Americans! Years ago, I flew into Washington, DC on the evening of the 4th when all of the fireworks were going off, and it was a glorious sight to behold! I was flying in for a 2-week masterclass in flute performance at U of MD where I would start working on my master's degree in the fall and I wanted to check out the university and find a place to live... I am from New Brunswick, Canada, which borders Maine, although now I live in Ontario... I spent a total of 5 years living in the US, working on my masters, then doctorate and I made many treasured friends, and I have some close family who live in the US, so to me, the US is a second home.

Wow, Julie, this is amazing! Fabulous watercoloring with such rich colors. Love the contrast of the weathered wood background with that pretty lace. Gorgeous patriotic card!
