This is hand-stitched card #7. I am including this view to show a close-up of the stitches on the bottom portion of the hand-stitched piece, so that the stitches with the matching purple sequins. I used a knot stitch to affix the purple sequins.
This hand-stitched card is from a large collection of approximately 50 hand-stitched cards, 44 of those in a large set were given to my Mom, who is a master cross-stitcher. I had been looking for several years to find a way to create hand-stitching on cards for my Mom to make cards for her to give to her friends and family that Mom will find very special, that she would know that they were an extremely special set made just for her. It took me approximately 18 months to create the hand-stitched pieces and to make them into cards. Please see one of the views of the whole card for further information.
All of the patterns that I have uploaded and color combinations have been my own. I have made 2 hand-stitched pieces that I made into cards that I copied the patterns, if I upload those, I will acknowledge my source.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see this view of my hand-stitched card. When you take the time and the trouble to leave a comment, it's a huge thrill for me!!!
