I have created this over the top, but fabulously fun purple gift-box from cardboard I had left over from a 12x12 cardstock paperpad. I followed a box template then decorated the box with multi layered die-cut grids I cut from shiny black cardstock . I took the cut out violet square pieces from the grid and inserted those back in around the box to cover up parts of the pattern for a checkered look. The flowers and leaf included in this die-set are just adorable and perfect for many uses. The die-cut words are also from this set and are also multi-layered. The finishing touches are pearls on inner grid-lines corners & a bow. Dont you love an awesome grid that can be manipulated/extended/cut down to varied design sizes for using on multiple projects?

Wow, another STUNNER, and in my favorite color of purple!!! You got me with all of that purple, but when I took a closer look, oh wow!!! Look at that bling, it's used so tastefully as a border and very balanced too. How cool to use it on the top of your box top to adhere the gorgeous lavender ribbon!!! Those purple flowers that are 3D have a cool sheen to them and I love the shape you achieved with them. The green you used for the leaves is light and really pops against the rest of the darker colors. The pattern on the box itself is cool with the checkered squares.
