Boy is this challenge a challenge, but I am learning a lot. I ended up watching 4 more videos on blending and really never got any kind of feel of how to do blending that would click in my head. So I slapped on the paints as always, but did it slower and with more letting the water do the work (but not like I really should have).
I like the result so I am calling it done. I really like how the flower came out. I may watch a bunch more videos and try again this weekend. Practice, practice... sure glad this is not a class and we are being graded! LOL.

Nancy, your magnolia and leaves are gorgeous! You did a superb job with the challenge and your card is lovely. (Personally, I don't think there is any technique that you couldn't do) : )

No line and blending...what a beautiful card. I love how those leaves look and the flower is such a beauty. Super work on this card. Watching videos and practice is so helpful....just as you did.

Nancy, your card is beautiful. Stunning flower and I think your blending is great. I struggle with water coloring and blending. I'm watching videos too, but never sure if I have the right tools when I'm doing so. Great job on the challenge. Hugz
