This card is for this week's Try a New Technique challenge. Such fun.
I have tried this technique before last year when I hosted a challenge using household objects for the S2S thread, so I already had my rubber bands on a loo roll in my mix media stash. I did end up adding a thicker band for this and other panels.
I made 10 panels last night whilst DH was watching his sport...what else is a girl to do but get out her rubber bands and roll.
I plonked various acrylic paints on my gelli plate instead of rolling direct to paper. Must try that next time. This panel started out as blue and oranges and yellow. I always add white paint for the second pull which I think this panel was.
I ended up with some cool roll off pieces too...all of which will find their way onto various projects in due course.
I think these are some of my favourite colours as they remind me of autumn, which happens to be my favourite time of the year.
I loved the panel so much that I didn't want to cover it so I simply die cut the scalloped edge, die cut the sentiment and added bling. Very simple and easy and made within 10 mins.
Fun, fun, fun.
The light is poor here and the colours don't show up the vibrancy. I will take a better photo tomorrow and repost.
TFL. Happy day

Very cool effect. They are pretty colors (Autumn is my favorite season too) and what a great idea to have the bands on a loo roll! I can tell you had fun - it shows here. Sweet friend card. Hugz
