When I think of summer in the city I think HOT...I also think of events happening every weekend, boats and water skiers on our river and generally people out and about cycling, walking, running and enjoying life. In the evenings, there's lots of outdoor cinemas, concerts and people sitting out at pubs and cafes/restaurants. It's also Australia Day in January and there's fireworks and everyone comes out onto their balconies to watch the event or sits on the foreshore.
When I saw Sharon's challenge, I thought of our Australia Day fireworks and had just the stencil. Whilst checking my stash I also found this lovely building diecut sent to me by dear Karen (ArtDeco Diva), one of my alpha friends. It was perfect for my scene.
After stencilling the fireworks behind the buildings, I added colours which are projected onto the river...yep that's our Swan River LOL. Colour added behind the windows as lots of people would be in their apartments watching the event.
It doesn't look sparkly in the photo but it's very sparkly as I put Wink of Stella all over the colours.
TFL. Happy day

Such a fun card, Jayne. Love the buildings, the reflection, the lights, and the fireworks. Super cool touches that make it special. Hugz
