This is for two challenges , Karen's using rubber band stamping, and Sue's VSN is all about the Beach Boys. You're probably wondering how this relates to The BB. I am a huge BB fan from way back...we had all their albums, the first concert I went to at age 9 was The Beach Boys....I still listen to them frequently. One of our fav songs was In My Room...my sister and I would try to harmonize on it like the Wilson Brothers..I have no doubt we failed miserably. Anyway, as a child of about 8 or 9 I spent a lot of time in my room playing with dolls...Barbies,etc and it was usually with Jane, my favorite playmate at that time. We had tons of clothes for them, the Barbie house, etc...Anyway that's my connection to the song In My Room. Hope you like it....now that I see it , it's a lot of green!

Great job representing your challenges. The base of the rubber band stamping gives the perfect vintage feel to the image. The string of paper dolls is just right for this main image.

Love all the green, Polly, along with your great story, the great image, and your super use of the rubber bands. Fun card. Hugz

It's a lot of green, but it's also a lot of fun! "In My Room" was one of the songs I wanted to make a card for, but ran out of time before I got inspired enough to execute one. My sister and brother and I used to harmonize all the time, too, but it was Beatles songs - fun times! And I still haven't outgrown dolls... Thanks for playing!
