Sue challenged us to make a card inspired by a Beach Boys song. I looked at the link to the Endless Summer album and chose the song Catch a Wave (though my oldest daughter thought of Surfin' USA when I showed the card to her!).
I stamped my surfing penguin and then fussy cut the wave and water to fit around the penguin. I also cut a white cap for the curl.
I colored the penguin and sky with Copics. I added white craft ink to the water along with some white gel pen dots and lines for white accents to the water.
I'll add a sentiment when I send the card.
Thanks for the challenge, Sue!

Fun! The Beach Boys' songs have a lot of overlap, since the theme is usually beach/surfing, so a card representing any song can easily represent several others, lol. Your penguin looks like he's having "a blasty-blast", as my daughters say. Great card, and thanks for playing!

Fabulous! Love how you used this surfin penguin. Wonderful colors.
Your hand-cut wave looks great! So fun, Catherine. Great job with your card and the challenge.
