Today's Featured Stamper is cathymac! Cathy's gallery is amazing, but we all knew that already. It's also huge and I could spend all day looking at it. I had the idea to check my favorites for which of her cards I had in there. I knew I must have a bunch. This was one of them. Perfect inspiration for my brother's birthday card. He lives on the pond and kayaked the entire perimeter earlier this week. It took him over three hours. So I used Cathy's cool layout and let my design be inspired by her techniques (which she does way better than me). But instead of beach, it's pond with my brother and sister-in-law's kayaks on the shore. I didn't want to stamp "Happy Birthday" on the outside, because I want them to be able to display it longer, so I found this great MFT sentiment. Thanks for the inspiration, Cathy! Today and every day!

Oh yeah, great card to case. Your kayakers will love this, with this fab saying, and they can leave it out all year to enjoy!!

We all need to do as this card says. Love the stitching and kayaks. I could make the perimeter of my pond in 6 minutes (it would take me 3 hours to get in the kayak and probably 3 more to get out - lol) - he must have a large one! Super fun card! Hugz

My DGD has a kayak about that same color blue. She loves to go out and relax, especially after a busy day of policing activity. (she is a deputy sherrif). I will have to case this card for her! Fabulous case.

What an honor to have you CASE one of my cards, Jen...I am always inspired by your creativity and the way you personalize your card creations...just like this one! Love how the water seems to sparkle and the addition of the kayaks is perfect for your brother and SIL! Beautiful CASE!
