I embossed the BG first and then sponged some white on it to give it an old paint look. The image was colored with watercolor pencils, with some stamping for sand. I added some glitter to the water's edge, but not sure you can see it in the photo. The torn edges were unintended, but necessary after a corner tore when I was trimming it. Happily, I like how it looked!
