This is a bit of work for Altenew Academy: Quick and Simple Cards. Day one was a look at how to quickly create sentiment strips for cards and to have them ready for use.
This is homework for day 1 of class. I picked a few stamps that I use most often and practiced stamping them multiple times. I tried to keep the pressure light when both inking and stamping. The stamp platform helped make the process quicker as I just had to move the paper up an equal distance each time. The addition of the embossing made this set abit more challenging. The letters spread a little more and I’m wondering if it had anything to do with the paper quality. The first sentiment I tried spread a bit too much. I left it in the set right upfront. It’s not as easy to read as the other pages. I would try again, but maybe with a different paper or embossing powder combination.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a moment to take a closer look at my cards.
