I have a video from Lydia with a gorgeous bird she did with this technique and also you can find a tutorial here on SCS.
I stamped my image with Distress ink using Antique Linen which is a light ink. Then, I used my watercolor brush to start with a little dark ink in Victorian Velvet around the stamped lines and pulling it away so the stamping doesn't show. I colored the centers with a golden color. I did a splash of blue around the image.
My butterflies are a tiny punch.
I did one out of the box leaf.
Hope you will join us and have fun.

You have kept your colors quite light and it makes your flower delicate, along with your wonderfully colored background. I notice that a little piece of your flower goes into your frame, which adds a neat element, I am wondering how you did it. I have so much to learn... Which is good!
That "Smile" sentiment has such a beautiful font, it's wonderful! The black sentiment adds depth to the bottom of the card, yet the delicate flower leaves a different feel, the sentiment really grounds the card. Altogether beautiful for sure!!!

Brenda! Oh my - this is a gorgeous and so soft card - I could reach out and touch the flower! Love the serenity it beholds - such a precious card and a fabulous challenge!

You've done this before, I'd say. Beautiful. I'm a little intimidated by today's challenge, I knew it would come up though. But I rise to any intimidation.
