I took my inspiration from both the teapot and the Pen pal story and decided a collage would be a fun way to bring lots of different elements together. I started with the Italian script as my base then added the pen nib. Randomly stamped some colorful postage marks and postage stamps then added the floral spray and butterfly for a bit of whimsy. flowers were colored with prismacolor pencils amd added some stickles crystal to the flower centers and buds. Finished with a band of metallic gold paint and mounted onto the brown card base. Since I didn't get the inkwell on my card, I decorated the envelope with that and some additional script.

You and Anita both had gorgoeus collages for this challenge. I love that kind of art.

The inkwell is amazing! It looks dimensional. Collage stamping was an inspired way to go, letting you fit in some handwriting and stamps and franking, as well as the lovely butterfly and floral spray.
