Congratulations on being this week's featured stamper Patti, I love this nesting bird card found here and changes were to flip it up to portrait, I switched the gems for twine and I mostly used dies for building the scene. The pale green thin DCWV cover sheet was run through a branch texture folder and inked with some bundled sage oxide ink which I wiped a lot of that off after ( the card stock cracked in the big shot) and it gave it a little more of an obvious green shade too. The edges of the card front and the nest diecut have some vintage photo on them. the eggs were cut from a Speckled egg/mermaid lagoon background on watercolor paper and the layered robin was colored with SU & Tombo & distress water based markers. the sentiment and bird are up on foam pop dots here.
Patti, I hope you like this and enjoy your week, thanks for this challenge Julie & tfl.

Well of course you had to cut the eggs from using speckled egg. Ha! That is such a new great color. Love all the adorable dies you used to create this awesome card. I love it. I like the way you did your twine and that slim style sentiment banner.

So sweet, Stacy. Great texture and details and I love the bird. My card actually started out similar to this one (we cased the same one), but on the way to my craft room..... Love yours! Hugz

Your background details are so realistic, I'd swear that was real wood as your background with some green details, it's wonderful. That sweet bird in its bird nest works so well on that wood background. I like the height on the bird, the dimension adds a neat detail. This is so natural and organic-looking, you have created a very neat piece of art.
