A just for fun card. The background is wrinkle free distress with DOX, using a couple of greens for the foreground, and I think milled lavender, hickory smoke and weathered wood for the sky. I stamped and embossed the hedgeghogs. Then added the foxgloves, and went back in with the bracken ferns and a couple of grass stamps. My sister had sent me some lovely photos of an outing they had recently, and a couple were of the side of a field with bracken and foxgloves. It brought back vivid memories of early childhood holidays when the bracken was taller than I was.
I stamped and embossed the sentiment, and used turquoise embossing antiquities EP round the edge. Matted it onto a layer of purple card, then a black base. This morning a lot of the main foxglove had melted into the background (what I don't like about DOX, maybe it had got wet somehow), so I added a bit of body back in with markers.

Such a lovely BG for your hedgehogs and it reminds me of growing up in the UK. TFS. Happy day

This card is just so sweet Sabrina. It was the colours that caught my eye in the gallery, I love your sky and all the soft colours of the bracken and foxglove.
I think it is always lovely to just make a card for the sake of it, this one has turned out beautifully.
