Our challenge today takes us to illustrations for books for children. I chose this illustration: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/575123814895006265/
I created this on my computer using a vector imaging program. Drew the images and added the sentiment, then printed it and colored with pens and pencils. Die cut black mat and assembled onto Lost Lagoon cardstock.
This is going to my brother whose entire back is fused with rods and needless to say getting off the floor would present a real challenge. I only have 5 fused discs and a total shoulder replacement so getting off the floor would be challenging for me as well. I know he will like this.
BTW, this looks just like my sweet kitty, Ali.

This is just so much fun, and I know that your brother especially with his back issues will get a real kick out of it. Your coloring is wonderful, very realistic, and yet very clean lines, and the black border really makes your coloring pop. Using pencils has created some vibrant colors like on the fish that look so beautiful!!! You have created a cool family room scene, and the expression on that cat's face is truly comical. Well done!!!
I am sure that this will bring some joy to your brother, and you are showing your love and your understanding of what he's going through which is SO important. I am so sorry that you are both dealing with a lot with your backs, and I am praying for both of you now.
