I was a substitute teacher in elementary school for 14 years while my children were growing up and I accumulated a huge collection of children's books. My favorite thing about them is their incredibly beautiful illustrations. Stories that appeal to the innocent imagination of children always seem to evoke the most colorful, fanciful images. I saw several illustrations in this weeks inspiration site using a brilliantly colored folk art style, much like the doodled designs of Laurel Burch. Her fanciful style and vivid colors would have been perfect for children's books. I loved the doodled creatures and colors in this illustration: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/575123814896127071/

You and Susie Australia have the most fascinating and unique stamps and images in your collections. This is outstanding and I agree, those colors and art are so whimsical and delightful any child would adore it as most adults as well.
