Mary, when I first took a closer look at your card, I was really taken with the texture on your trees and the wonderful way you have captured blowing snow. This gnome is in the middle of a snowstorm, and that's not at all easy to capture, but you did it SO well. I just noticed that you also used chalk in this artwork, that is something that I want to remember when creating a snowstorm or blowing snow... And your gnome, his red outfit has a bit of shabby chic going on with the pattern texture and his beard adds some more. This is just "blowing me away", and honesty, no pun was intended, really!
I am beyond impressed with this art--it should be framed, hung up, and treasured, it is WONDERFUL, Mary, wonderful!!! I favorited it and I thank you for teaching me a lot about using different elements to create that atmosphere of blowing snow. When you can teach without using a word, you're a very talented teacher indeed, Mary!!!
