I had made this BG earlier and hadn't used it yet. This is my first watercolor challenge, but I may go back and do the other two.
So all I had to do was Water color the image and put it on the card - right... I water colored with Soft Suede and then added some elegant eggplant in places on the bear and also added some tempting turquoise on him and in the flower bouquet. There is a little elegant eggplant in the flowers as well.

What a sweet card! I love your background as well as your image. Yes, that's it. Just use the unexpected color for this challenge as you did. Eggplant and turquoise are great colors to use.

This is just the sweetest, Pat. Not only is your watercoloring of the bear image so beautifully done, but I love the free and loose watercolored back panel. The eggplant was an excellent choice with the brown for the accent color......many of us reach for turq/aqua, but you were more adventuresome.
