This card is for four challenges;
CAS590 challenge to pop an element up - the top panel is popped up to create the slide path for the card along with the daisy and the grass.
CC796 - the colour challenge, to use Real Red, Pool Party, Garden Green and your favourite yellow. I went with YoYo Yellow as my favourite and while it is retired it is a perfect sub for Pineapple Punch.
MMTP621 Teapot Tuesday to use a moving part on your card. Anyone that knows me and my work will know I usually avoid these sorts of challenges like the plague. I will spend all day colouring with any and all mediums but ask me to do a fancy fold or 3D something and I have a complete breakdown....well outside my comfort zone.
WCW003 Watercolor Wednesday to use unexpected colour on your image. my unexpected colour was Pool Party on my flowers. I am just loving this challenge. To find it you have to go into Forums then down to all the challenges and yuo will find it. I'm hoping it will go up on hte home page soon.
So what did I do...well I spent some time hatching the vidio on building a slider card, then I took a piece of watercolour paper and a piece of SU Shimmery White card stock and did a couple of swatches to see how the colour would take and was happier with the Shimmery White.
I stamped the images with the India Ink (it takes water) and coloured them wet on wet and popped the Pool Party onto the tips of the petals. I set both images aside to dry.
And now for the hard bit. I cut out my panels then worked out where I wanted the flower to go and where the Ladybird would pop up then cut the slider gap in the top panel with a craft knife.
The instructions for all this can be found here; Pull-Tab Slider Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I used the SU Foam Adhesive strips to raise the panel then stuck that to the DP and base, that was after attaching my Ladybird to both the top and the slider underneath (see instructions)
I put the daisy over the slide panel popping it up with SU Dimensionals. When the Ladybird was hiding behind the daisy you could see part of the greeting from the slider through the sledder gap so I added a couple of clouds, then I decided to add some grass and that's it folks.
Thanks for looking
Cheers Marg.

I'm with you on the fancy folds, etc...I went with an easy flap design on mine. You rocked this pull tab card...it's adorable! Your coloring on the sweet bee and flowers is perfect. Well done Marg.

Adorable card, Marg....and your watercoloring is SO beautifully done. The interactive "pull" feature even adds to its charm when the chubby little bee pops up.

Marg, Your Little Lady bug not only has great action, but wonderful water coloring as well. I love the touches of unexpected blue added to the flower. You produced a fabulous card and now I must try one of these pull up cards as well!
