This was so much fun and turned out far better than I thought it would. My fruit and veggie drawers are pretty bare; I either have to eat them up quickly or toss them. But I foraged a bit and found enough to try this fun technique. The only thing I've ever done before is stamp with celery, makes pretty rose like flowers. That card is somewhere in my gallery.
DOx inks worked great, I smeared them on my glass mat and dabbed the fruits in. My favorite is the salad tomato one in the center. Salad tomatoes are like grape tomatoes, kind of oblong. I used three different colors, that little tomato stamped so well. I found some fun sayings and a stamp.
Eat less sugar...you're sweet enough already.
Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
Orange you glad I didn't say banana?
I have one more, probably wait until tomorrow. Thanks, Anita, this was silly and fun.

Wow Jean, the little tomato is lovely but I love the others too, and the sentiments are just perfect to match these cards, I'm glad you had fun playing this challenge!!

Gosh, they turned out beautifully. The one on the left is my favourite for both the stamping and the sentiment. Thanks for the idea of smooshing the ink onto a mat. I wasn't sure that I wanted to press acid fruit onto my pads.

So much fun! I love that middle one the best too. Love the colors. But I sure do love them all! I was wanting to stamp with all the things this morning too!
