I love watercolors and am so excited about the new Watercolor Wednesday challenge! I'm determined to play in these. This is for the first challenge, Watercolor Look Ink Smooshed. Thank you Kia, Linda, Angie and Brenda for your inspiration and instruction.
I started off putting the ink on a black piece of watercolor, not too exciting and hard to place. Finally had an occasion to use this uninked lighthouse scene and started adding sunset colors to the sky and deepening the rocks and land. I used the Eclipse technique for the sentiment and mounted it on a dark teal mat and a confetti card base. Adding the card to this week's WTUI Unused Stamp and the USEIT2020 challenge. Enjoyed myself thoroughly! TFL

Wowza Carla that water color is amazing and what a perfect image for the colors too. I am so thrilled you created a second card for the challenge with another unused stamp.

Carla, what an awesome scene you created. I love that sky. I can see you had fun with the w/c technique and did such a fabulous job. Glad you got to use that stamp, too. Beautiful card!
