I could have called her Henny Penny or Henrietta but I went with Hortense, just to be different.
Who knew there was a poultry day?? Probably Anna and Jeanne. I'm sad there will be no Wisconsin State Fair this year, I love looking at the animals, even though they look the same every year. I did happen to have a few chicken stamps, amazingly. I don't have a lot of animals. I thought stamping on a tea bag would be cool for this chickie. Colored her with a few markers in certain places, cut out a little tea cup from red cs, glued some of the loose tea that I took out of the tea bag, added a little rick rack for a homey touch and mounted it on a background using the new Dina Wakely Gloss Sprays which are awesome. I gave this a 2 because it took a while to get that darn staple out and then empty the tea.

How cool that you stamped on a tea bag. Love the addition of the dried tea. She is a cutie chicken. Thanks for playing with my challenge. Happy poultry day.

She looks sweet with that added colour - and her cup of tea. I like the fine ricrac and staples (which make me think of Susan). I have some larger teabags (ours are very small) which Anita gave me, I must pull them out and actually use them. Love your spray background.

Your chicken is one "cool chick" Jean! Seriously, tea anyone? Yep, that makes her pretty cool in my book. I love how you stamped on a tea bag and used the dried tea on your card. I have seen these DW sprays, so thank you for sharing your opinion on them. I will add them to my list! What a fabulous card this is for the challenge Jean! ~Karen.
