For the unused stamp challenge, I went with the largest circle I have. I really wanted to watercolor it for the new Watercolor Wednesday, but as suspected, it was too detailed of an image and didn't stamp well enough for any definition. So I stamped it with the tried and true, India Ink on glossy CS from a recycled catalog, and colored it with Distress markers. Next time, I will use a die ink and try my hand with Alcohol markers. I double stamped the sentiment, using the MISTI. It was such a classic image, that I added this beautiful, meant-for-printing embossed border invitation card. That went on my brown base. I am in the club of many stamps waiting for their turn. No apologies...I'm stamping as fast as I can.

Gorgeous! I can't believe you haven't used that medallion before...it's stunning. Your coloring is perfect! The double stamped sentiment is wonderful. Now get out all those other stamps you haven't inked up...maybe they need to have this challenge at least once a week.

Wowza what a great stamp and the sentiment stamping is amazing too. It is nice to see what we have in our stash that has not been used and finally get to play with it. Thank you for joining the WTUI challenge this week. I am so happy you were inspired to use this stamp.

Love the shadow-stamped sentiment. I had to look twice after reading "acorn medallion". I do see them, but my first thought was tropical islands! Very classy card.
