Linda is our hostess for our second Watercolor Wednesday Challenge and she has chosen a wonderful technique from our very own Dina! There is a wealth of information in the tutorial that Linda has linked. I hope to see you in the gallery!
I really enjoyed the technique. I also did the bonus technique (basically wrinkle-free distress with the extra ink)and can't wait to show it to you but I need to run and celebrate my daughter so I haven't had time to make it into a card yet!
I googled Nautilus Shell after I made one hideous painting that ended up in the trash. I found a stunning piece of art with a gold and sea green shell so I decided to heat emboss my image with gold EP. For the rest, I followed the tutorial.
I am creating with the Art Nudge #13 Challenge for my color combo.

I had one end up in the trash, too, Angie. I love anything ocean and this shell is beautiful. Love the added gold.

Angie - will be attempting to combine these challenges too, but mine won't look this good for sure - such a pretty shell and glimpse of an underwater scene
