Linda (Holstein) has us watercoloring with Dye Inks and the Lisa's (Shoe Girl) Tea Party theme this week is pink and purple flowers - so I combined the two.
Very old watercolor paper purchased at a flea market is my main panel. Stamped this new to me Rubbernecker Window with Bench image. Watercolored it all with ink and water as Dina demonstrated in the videos (or attempted too). Painted in a few pink and purple flowers - had to add a bit more colors to them with Gouache colors since I added them after I colored up the image. Sponged around the edges with TH Distress - Vintage Photo because I don't know how to do a card without doing that.
Super challenges - thanks for the inspiration. I will be checking out what everyone else made later today. Work just gets in the way of my crafting - so annoying!

Beautifully done Nancy. This stamp has wonderful details to watercolour, such fun. I too love your signature sponging ... it is what makes your cards yours.

So pretty and peaceful, sure you can ink the edges but using a dark dye ink with a paintbrush on the edges would be cool too!! Any way the effect is beautiful!!
