This card is for the CAS challenge to use strips. I have lots of these in my stash.
I chose some strips of alcohol inks and cut them down. Some are wider than others and some are uneven strips but I liked the colours so just pieced them together and left them as they were. They remind me of all the candy colours in tens and thousands that we used to sprinkle on our ice cream.
Sentiment stamped and done. I added the top panel to a piece of cs in my stash. I was tempted to add bling but decided I had better start thinking CAS.
TFL. Happy day

Jayne, what an eye catching design. The scripted sentiment is perfect with it.

I absolutely love this card Jayne. I was trying to figure out what they stripes were made of without peeking at your write-up, but I had to peek because I could not figure it out. I have lot of alcohol ink stripes too so I may have to borrow your fabulous idea here. What a gorgeous birthday card this is and one that will certainly please the recipient. ~Karen.
