I am adding this to the WT771 Vision in Vellum challenge BECAUSE when you Tombow Mono tape Tea Bag paper completely down, it has many of the same properties of vellum. The tea bag paper is see through, at that point, and adds a softness / diffusing of the BG paper.
Since that challenge is several months old I thought it would be ok, to join in, with a different paper that give the same effect. : ) hope you indulge my thoughts on that ! ??
A couple of tricks to making that paper 'sandwich' was, #1 cut the larger die first and glue the BG paper onto it (the paint brush paper is just large rectangle adhesive taped to the black paper near the postage edge) #2 cut a second black piece with both the larger die and the smaller die to make the 'FRAME'. #3 then I left the frame paper inside the dies and laid on top of the Tea Bag paper (put white copy paper on very bottom for sturdiness to cut into) and ran thru again. #4 I lined up the black frames and just lifted each side up and ran Tombow Mono snail adhesive across the edge of the black 'FRAME' paper, running two strips of tape over the bottom black layer and inside of that adding tape on top of the BG paper, then press down to attach each side of the frame as you go around. I did that one at a time to all 3 sides and then just opened a tad bit of the 4th side and put a tiny bit of adhesive. #5 I completely covered the BG paper with rows of snail Tombow Mono adhesive and then matched up the corner of the Tea Bag paper into the 'FRAME' and started pressing it down to match the die edges along the top and left side and once that was in I smoothed it across to the right side and bottom. There is a TINY bit of overlap on the lower right side, but that was tricky to line up and did best I could.
Printed sentiment on PC, friend is renovating and needs a card! Added a little double twine bow.
TFL and hope you enjoy the continuation of my Tea Bag paper series : )
take good care, Teresa

Adorable card, Teresa. You're right about the resemblance to vellum! Sweet image and a clever and creative way to use tea bags. Thanks for playing in my challenge. Feel free to join in our challenges any time and use the supplies that work for you
