My card for the tea party. I brought a doily, the bg is a napkin using the felted napkin method & the cupcake is a yummy Guinness chocolate one, our family favourite. I had never tried making felted napkin bg before. It turned out well, but was a bit finicky & I probably could have gone to Michael's & back by the time I had it all worked out. Does give a nice texture though. Enjoy!

What a fun napkin you had. I need to try this technique again. It was a washout the last time I did, but I have some different cling wrap now and maybe it would work better with that. Yum, your cupcake sounds delicious.

Fabulous card for Melanie! The pink is so cheerful and the polka dots are as fun as can be! Be proud of yourself for tackling the felted napkin technique and doing such a great job too! Your doily and cupcake certainly do make this feel festive and fun which is what a tea party is all about. ~Karen.

Oh so sweet! I love how the scalloped circle around the cupcake echoes the scalloped edge of the doily peeking in the corner!
