This is for this week's Tea Party Challenge - Teaparty Essentials. A tea cup is an essential! I used the technique with a napkin and modge podge, don't know if it has a proper name! Once dry adhered to gold c/s and added the die cut border. Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and die cut with the art deco die.
The tea party is for Melanie who is sadly battling cancer and loves tea parties. Due to the current OS mail situation, I wish Melanie all the very best wishes but will, instead send this card to a friend who is in need of thanks.
TFL!

Everything about this is lovely Sue. I am sure your friend will love it and I hope she is doing well. I just read today that our mail to overseas is taking up 3 months.

Such a beautiful card Sue. Your friend is going to love it. Hope that you are keeping well over East. TFS. Happy day hugs
Ps: I saw Susie’s note about our international mail...eek...no wonder no-one has received a thing from me. I sent so many cards in March and none received yet.

This is an adorable card and some day I hope to use this technique when I am brave! I think your friend will enjoy the card as much as Melanie would have. I understand the OS postal issue, I need to get a couple sent off for Rubyvale or they might not make August for birthday!

I have no luck at all with decoupage, especially with something as fragile as a napkin, so I really appreciate seeing the technique done well, and your card sure fits. Great card.

So pretty! You had the perfect napkin for this. I followed the instructions for felted napkin bg using an iron & plastic wrap. I think I'll try modge podge some time. This turned out so well.
