I made this card for this week's Featured Stamper who is Chrysi (Knoxville8625). I was so pleased to see Julie selected Chrysi for this week's Featured Stamper because Chrysi is so kind and so talented, and she leaves the nicest comments on everyone's cards too. This is well deserved Chrysi and I am so pleased for you!
Chrysi, your gallery is so beautiful and I saw many cards I am interested in casing, but this one grabbed me right off the bat and I kept coming back to it: MMTPT614, Country Bouquet by knoxville8625 at Splitcoaststampers. I love orange and Chrysi uses a lot of orange in her cards, but it was the color of the layers of this card that really appealed to me the most. I used different images, but followed the same basic layout Chrysi did for her card.
The flowers were stamped, colored with copic markers, then die cut out and adhered to the white panel following the curves of the panel. Stamped the sentiment. Then added the image panel to the die cut panels. This card would not have been possible if it weren't for Chrysi's fabulous inspiration card so thank you Chrysi. Enjoy your well-deserved week in the spotlight too!
Thank you Julie for the wonderful challenge today and thank you for looking! ~Karen.

What a beautiful case of Chrysi's card - love how your pretty florals fit into the curves of your die cut white panel and that pretty orange framing! Everything pops wonderfully off the black card base!

So lovely in orange! This has never been a favorite color of mine, but after seeing how lovely it works with dark colors, it's really growing on me. Karen, I love your card, based on Chrysi's, especially the flowers and frame. TFS.

Karen, your comments are much too kind! Thank you, so much! I love your card!!! The white background for the flowers is so pretty and a beautiful shape! Your flowers are perfectly colored and their placement is so artistically done that it catches the eye. And in the end, the black card base finishes off the entire theme! Wow!
