I am calling this a Spotlight technique- the butterfly is the spotlight. I restamped the image and fussy cut out the butterfly, and embossed it using Iridescent ice EP. I also added wink of Stella to the sentiment which it cut out 3 times and glued together.
I think of butterflies and cardinals that bring me memories of loves ones that have passed away.

Shelly, I think this is an inspired interpretation of the spotlight technique. It certainly does draw the eye to the butterfly. I am touched by the thought of the butterfly representing loved ones we've lost. This is lovely!
