For MariLynn's Feeling Stabby MIXed media challenge. I'm counting on the fact that my background used both watercolour powders and an acrylic shimmer spray to get me into the mixed media category.
So before work, I printed the tutorial and pierced my card (it has a black back with a decorative punched edge, and two sheets of copy paper inside.) I think this will be for a Japanese friend to whom I normally send a Christmas card - and last year she sent me a bookbinding project she had made. I wouldn't use any sort of journal, but a card was perfect...
I thought red would look good with the vivid blue - it's more a scarlet than the photo shows. After the binding and after work I simply stamped and embossed the sentiment, and added the two star scrolls cut from copper mirror card and the stars cut from gold glitter card.

Wow! Your stab binding card is awesome. Being a lover of stars, I find all yours just beautiful. Great sky, too. Thanks for the welcome back today with your comment. So appreciated.
