This is a combination of today's Challenge to use Versa Mark and this month's Challenge Your Stash challenge of spotlighting. I decided to use this stamp that I bought in December and haven't used yet. I had an idea to color the outside lightly and color the spotlight (which I made square) in bright rainbow colors. I think that I shouldn't have colored the outside, but you know how I can never resist coloring. I also used blue EP because I never use colored EP, but I wish I had used black to help it stand out better. I did apply a shadow to the letters with gray marker to make it pop. The other way I used Versa Mark was to stamp a crackle background on my blue card base.

Cool way to do a spotlighting technique...I really like the blue ep....I rarely use colored ones either...it's fun! That stamp is really adorable! Great card!

What a fun stamp. I knew this card was yours as soon as I saw it in the gallery, the bright happy colours. The little animals are cute - they remind me of an old Hero kids set I have somewhere. I see your crackle background.
