With all this 'covid' isolation going on I seem to have time to stitch. I found these half finished pieces in my stash and decided to do some calming embroidery using glittery threads from my enormous stash!! LOL The greetings and details are stickers from Starform.

WOW!!! Talk about some absolutely GORGEOUS hand-embroidery on a card!!! This is SO very elegant and absolutely STUNNING!!! I took a mini-class at a cross-stitch shop some years ago and learned the basics about doing this technique and made one little embroidery that I have never made into a card, but I should and I would like to do more someday...
I have been making hand-stitched cards but a different technique, and I thank you so very much for leaving your very kind comment on that card. I am uploading over time close to 50 cards that I hand-stitched and gave most in a large set to my Mom.
I have played with glittery embroidery floss, and I found it very difficult to work with, and so my admiration for what you have created here is even more because I know how finicky that glittery floss can be. Clearly, you have advanced technique in this area, because your creations look absolutely flawless!!!
Your shiny gold embellishments are an interesting combination that look beautiful combined with your geometric stitching, really lovely!!! This is wonderful!!!
I didn't realize until I went in to take a closer look that you had actually HAND-STITCHED embroidery, I was thinking that this was an embroidered look die, etc, but what a thrill I got to see some really gorgeous hand-embroidery that sparkles and is so flawless! WOW!!!

This is a beautiful set of cards Sue! I love the design and as others have said, am impressed with your patience. I use gold thread on cards occasionally but it always drives me crazy. :-) Embroidery is a whole other dimension!
