LOVE the colors Mary chose this week! They screamed nautical to me so I went with that theme.
I've had this Edna stamp for quite some time but never used her. I had a lot of fun coloring her - first with Copics and Stampin Blends and then with the Prismacolors to add detail. I die cut her and then stacked three Balmy Blue die cuts underneath to pop her up.
For the background, I stenciled the stripes in Balmy Blue. When adding the rope borders, I originally had ships wheel and anchor in brown and gray but they just stood out too much so I recut them in white. I managed to get dessert in by adding the three enamel dots - I only wish they were a little whiter. It's amazing how many different shades of white there are! I had other dots that looked cream but the package said white.

Oh my, Edna is full of attitude, as well as she should be, with her shades, summer hat and fancy swim suit! Your coloring is remarkable, as always, and the striped background and nautical die cuts work perfectly. Awesome card Jeanne!

How cute is this beach beauty?!?! I adore the image, and the expert coloring with the combo of Copics and pencils. Love the background and all the nautical elements. This is precious!
