Our Featured Stamper today is fargets. She has such a fun gallery! I chose this card as my inspiration. The sleepy pup reminded me of this sleepy kitty--an old stamp that a friend just gave me. Perfect for a retirement card that I needed to make! I used blues like Chris's card, and then I went rogue. Got a little carried away building this fun scene. The cat on his chair is cut with the ScanNCut. The thought bubble is a cloud die. I cut a window with my ScanNCut and cut a window through my wallpaper to put a little scene of stenciled trees and finger painted clouds. I grabbed a scrap of brown paper that was going to be a wood floor, but once I got it one there with some baseboard trim, I felt like it had a good carpet texture and wanted to keep it simple with everything else going on in the card.

How fun, Jen! I am retired and I must say that I don't mind not having a day off!! Thanks for the giggle this morning and this wonderful CASE of Chris' card!

Jen, this is such a comforting scene. Great chair, cat, window and walls. I totally love this! Hugz
