My BFF "Nurse Wendy" had been sick, then had to stay home in self isolation for a further 2 weeks before she was allowed to go back to work.
To cheer Wendy up, I coloured this fun KLM Design Studio gnome - adding messy hair and a few blood splatters. I used Prismacolour pencils, finishing with a gentle swish of walnut stain distress ink. Very faintly in the background there is a hint of light grey stenciling.
I typed the sentiment on copy paper and my vintage (circa 1970) Olivetti typewriter.
Thank you for looking and a huge thank you to all the health care workers and support staff around the world.
Stay safe.
EDIT: I just noticed that the card doesn't look even, but it is a perfect 4 x 6 rectangle. Weird hey.

I'll bet this brought a smile and laughter to your friend, Wendy. In the US our nurses and doctors have been our heroes during this pandemic.

Very cool card for your friend, Susie. Super fun image you altered, love the hint of stenciling in the bg, and your fun little touches of blood. Love it! Hugz

Susie, this is sooooo adorable! I so admire how you color, and especially hair! This will certainly cheer up your friend who is a nurse. What a deal she is going through. I hope she makes a full and complete recovery. ~Karen.
