Did someone say splatter? I had some time last night and this morning to do a BAJ page and card using the color challenge colors and the drips, splats, splatters theme in the CAS challenge.
Clear gesso layer
Stencil on thick layer of thick white gesso
Gouche wash on the card and sponging on the BAJ
Distress edges with Vintage Photo
Stamp and fussy cut shells
Splatter the colors - the best part and stress reducing!
Finished the BAJ page with some of the scripture and a prayer for the workers at our company. We had our first Covid-19 death in our work family and it hit us hard. I didn't work with him but he was with us a long time and much loved. One of my team members was hit hard by his death as he was good friends with her mother - I am sending the card to her.

Beautiful journaling page ....and a card too! Love your work, Nancy. These both have the soft colors of beach glass that is perfect with your seashell theme.

What a beauty, Nancy! I would never think to splatter a pinky purple into this card. But it adds so much interest. Everything about this card is just gorgeous!

Wow Nancy, your card and BAJ page are just stunning! The colors and design really speak directly to the heart and I know your co-worker will be truly touched by this card. I am so sorry to hear that someone in your work family died of COVID-19. It is hard to understand this virus. Take care and hugs! ~Karen.
