I'm happy to be hosting this week's color challenge this week with Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce. The dessert option is to use a circle.
There's a little more about my work on this challenge on my blog.
Though I picked these colors before I knew what options I would have with Stampin' Up!'s pre-order once I was able to order I knew I would choose to use the Forever Fern Bundle. The suite with these leaf images also features gold rings which are different that any embellishment I've used before. I wasn't even sure I'd get them to stick to my card. But they did - with fine dots of glue on the back.
Nothing too complicated I die cut various leaves in the three colors and layered them over the gold circle with just the stems tucked underneath the circle. The card base is Coastal Cabana with the white layered on top and just s skinny strip of Shaded Spruce glued down next to the white.
A few gold faceted gems echo the gold and embossed message of encouragement.
Thank you so much for looking and I sure hope you will find a little stamping time to join us in the gallery this week.

Chris, I guess we were on the same page with die cut branches. Love the colors you chose for this challenge and how you used them with these terrific die cuts (definitely checking those out when I get my catalog!). The gold elements add a great touch of elegance as well. Beautiful card!

Love this beautiful card, Chris, and the wonderful sentiment. We all could use that kind of encouragement these days! Thank you for a great color combo this week. I really enjoyed using it in my craft room today!
